Terms of Service for Luma

Welcome to Luma! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Luma mobile application (“App”) and our website cormeum.co.uk, operated by Cor Meum Ltd (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By creating an account, downloading, or using Luma, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. Use of Luma

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Luma.

  • Personal Use Only: Luma is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.

  • Compliance: You agree to use Luma in accordance with all applicable laws and these Terms.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Optional Paid Features: Some parts of Luma may be available only through paid subscriptions.

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other authorized providers.

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

  • Cancellations: You may manage and cancel your subscription through your app store account settings.

  • Refunds: Refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google in accordance with their policies. We do not process refunds ourselves.

3. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

  • Luma is designed for reflection, journaling, and personal growth.

  • It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

  • Do not use Luma as a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or therapeutic advice.

  • If you have health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare provider.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

  • Our Content: The Luma App, design, Beasts, graphics, text, and other elements are owned by Cor Meum Ltd and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of content you create or upload within Luma (e.g., journal entries). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely for operating the App.

  • Restrictions: You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or use Luma’s content except as permitted by these Terms.

5. Privacy

Your use of Luma is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and handle your information.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Luma if:

  • You breach these Terms.

  • You misuse the App or engage in illegal activity.

  • We discontinue the App or specific features (with notice where possible).

You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting support.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Luma is provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • We make no guarantees about uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific results.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cor Meum Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Luma.

  • Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for Luma in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of Luma after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
